Dan Kalb for Supervisor 5 Sets Campaign Team

San Francisco, July 26, 2004—San Francisco Supervisor 5 candidate DAN KALB today announced that the campaign has hired a “top notch team that brings a depth of grassroots, campaign strategy, and fundraising experience.
“This team will help me run a positive campaign that inspires the best instincts of voters while allowing me to rise to the top among a crowded field,” said Kalb. “I’m thrilled to have such an experienced team on board.”

The Kalb campaign team includes:

Campaign ConsultantPolitical Movers & Shakers. PMS’ principal, Scott Adams served as Political Director for U.S. Senator Paul Wellstone in 1990 and 1996. Based in San Francisco, PMS specializes in grassroots field campaigns, campaign strategies and public communications. Adams has also led campaigns for Kids for Kerry and the United Steelworkers of America.

FundraisersClem and Johnny Clarke, founders of the NewMan Group, whose San Francisco clients have included Supervisors Fiona Ma and Sophie Maxwell.

Campaign Field CoordinatorMeghan Pinch, a one-time bike messenger and bike shop manager, has worked on west coast Democratic campaigns and recently served as a field organizer on the Dean for America presidential campaign in Iowa.
