Angela Alioto Endorses Dan Kalb for Supervisor in SF District 5 Alioto cites Kalb’s “Experience, Leadership and Passion” on addressing homelessness, crime, the environment and neighborhood issues September 8, 2004 — Angela Alioto announced her “wholehearted support for Dan Kalb for SF District 5 Supervisor. Dan’s combination of experience, leadership and passion put him at the top of my list.” Alioto, a former President of the SF Board of Supervisors who now chairs the Ten Year Plan to abolish Homelessness, based her endorsement on her past work with Dan and appreciation of his ability to address complex issues and get things done. “Dan is honest, intelligent and aggressively passionate about homelessness, crime, the environment and neighborhood quality of life issues. District 5 is fortunate to have a candidate like Dan Kalb.” “I’m delighted to receive Angela Alioto’s endorsement. She is such a great advocate for abolishing homelessness and improving our quality of life in San Francisco. I look forward to continuing our working relationship when I’m elected D5 Supervisor. There are many challenges ahead of us,” said Dan Kalb. Alioto’s endorsement is
the latest in a growing list of influential individuals and organizations
supporting Democratic Party endorsed candidate Dan Kalb. Kalb is the
only D5 candidate to be endorsed by all three major San Francisco environmental
groups: the Sierra Club, SF Tomorrow and the SF League of Conservation
Voters. Kalb’s Democratic Party endorsements include the San Francisco
Democratic Party (choice two), the Raoul Wallenberg Jewish Democratic
Club and the Barbara Jordan Democratic Club. # # #
