DAN KALB Receives New Democratic Club and Community Endorsements

Sunset Community Democratic Club and Carolene & Milton Marks Democratic Club latest groups to make Dan Kalb their Top Choice Endorsement

Support follows endorsements by the African American Democratic Club (#2) and Chinese American Democratic Club (#3);

Former Supervisor Roberta Achtenberg also adds her support

San Francisco -- San Francisco Supervisor 5 candidate Dan Kalb added two top choice endorsements to his growing list of supporters with support from the Sunset Community Democratic Club and the Carolene & Milton Marks Democratic Club. Other recent endorsements for Dan Kalb include the African American Democratic Club (#2), the Chinese American Democratic Club (#3), and the 12th A.D. Democratic Club (#2).

Kalb has garnered the first choice backing from a majority of SF Community College Board of Trustees, including Board President Lawrence Wong, and trustees Milton Marks III and Rodel Rodis. In addition, Kalb picked up first choice support from SF Board of Education members Eddie Chin and Dan Kelly.

Kalb is also thrilled to have earned the endorsement of former San Francisco Supervisor Roberta Achtenberg. Ms. Achtenberg, a former Assistant Secretary at the Department of Housing and Urban Development (HUD) in the Clinton Administration, joins former Supervisors Angela Alioto, Carol Ruth Silver and José Medina in uniting behind Kalb.

Dan Kalb is the only Democrat endorsed by both the SIERRA CLUB and the San Francisco Democratic Party (choice 2). He's also the only candidate endorsed by all three leading San Francisco environmental groups: SIERRA CLUB, San Francisco Tomorrow and the San Francisco League of Conservation Voters(#3).
